In this tutorial you will learn how to make all kinds of tuning parts and much more in the easiest way possible!
What you need to know before starting is the fact that there are 2 different ways to add tuning parts to your vehicles. A very simple one (the one I present to you in this video), and a slightly more complicated one that I will present to you in a future tutorial.
The easiest way to do this is to add tuning parts as extras. It has some advantages but also some disadvantages, here is the detailed list:
-Benefits:
-You will be able to add a large number of tuning parts (the limit being 12 I think but you can try to go further).
-You can activate and deactivate them very easily via any trainer.
-You can not only add parts to the exterior (bumper extension, spoiler, air intake, etc.) but also to the interior (bag, computer, boxes and other accessories in the passenger compartment).
-You can place your parts anywhere, unlike tuning parts which are designed to replace specific elements such as the hood, roof, etc.
-You can add them to boats, planes, helicopters when it is not normally possible.
-Disadvantages:
- Tuning parts must be added or removed via a trainer, impossible to do this with the LS Custom.
-The parts appear randomly on the vehicles, you may come across full custom vehicles in the street with your tuning elements, however it seems to me that they will not overlap by themselves (look in the police vehicles, you never have the 3 cups at the same time in the same place).
-Cannot replace an element, if you modify one by shock you will not be able to replace it, only add components to it.
Tips: don't forget to add ALL the textures used on your extras in the .YTD files of your vehicles.
