Need some good sound in the evening, but forgot your Bluetooth speaker at home? No problem! There's a way to replace a speaker using just several smartphones and a free app. I'm going to tell you about AmpMe !

A few years ago, an application available only on Samsung (still available but not compatible with the latest models), named Samsung Group PlayThe Samsung smartphones can be connected to each other to access a number of cool functions, including the music sharing. The principle is simple: you play music on a smartphone and it's transmitted to all the other smartphones connected to the host, creating a little home cinema! Well, that's exactly the principle behind AmpMeexcept that it works on all devices Android and IOS smartphones and tablets!

Install the application on all the smartphones or tablets you want to connect together, then run it on each one after activating internet and the GPS. If some people don't have internet access, share a connection with one of the smartphones. GPS is used to detect parties (music bands) nearby. The host then selects a music source from his or her library personal, Spotify or YouTube. Other smartphones don't need to have music to act as a speaker as long as the host has it.

You can also chat via the cat of the application as in a group conversation.

When the host decides to change or pause the music, all the other connected smartphones will do the same.

The music is generally well synchronized, although there are occasional slight discrepancies (echo" effects). To solve this problem, the application asks if the music is synchronized. Click on " No "then adjust the offset (+ or -) to ensure perfect synchronization.

It's also possible to join parties further away from home, which isn't very useful - you'll just be able to listen to the same music as a few people at the same time, and chat with them.
