First of all, what is a QuickShifter ? It is a small electronic device (in a small box) which is connected to a motion detection probe placed on the gear selector as well as to the motorcycle's ignition. Its purpose is, when the gear selector is pressed to engage the next gear, to cut automatically for a short period of time the ignition of the motorcycle and thus allow the gear to be changed without disengage and without letting go of the gas. So there is no waste of time (hence the fact that all circuit motorcycles are equipped with a QuickShifter) and therefore faster and smoother acceleration. The sound of the motorcycle is also very pleasant because it is similar to a gearbox automatic. 

This QuickShifter, from the brand HealTech, has the additional particularity of not costing an arm and a leg (around 300€) to be universal and can therefore be mounted on any motorcycle ! When ordering, simply choose the wiring harness that matches your motorcycle (Check it out on Google if you don't know it or ask the brand directly). As for the case, it is the same regardless of the motorcycle on which it is mounted.

The connection is very simple, you unplug your ignition plugs then add the QuickShifter cable in between and reconnect.

All you have to do is attach the probe to the speed selector (I recommend that you place it as said in the video so as not to encounter the problem of the box being too hard). Connect everything to the box and you're done!

The QuickShifter features the Bluetooth for its programming. Download the application then pair your smartphone with the QuickShifter box. Start by resetting the settings to 0 then configure everything as explained at the end of the video or using the PDF I talk about in the video which is also available further down on this page.

All you have to do now is get started and enjoy your new toy!
