Textra is a free alternative SMS application, with a PRO version for a few euros which simply allows you to remove the ONLY ad present in the application on a SINGLE page, so the PRO version is not necessary!<\/p>\n

Why the best? Simply because of the huge number of possibilities it offers in terms of customization and functions, you can customize as you wish:<\/p>\n

\n -The theme (light, dark, black)<\/strong>
\n -The color of the bubbles of sent and received messages<\/strong>
\n -The shape of the bubbles of messages sent and received<\/strong>
\n -The police<\/strong>
\n -The font size<\/strong>
\n -The type of emojis (IOS, Twitter, Android...)<\/strong>
\n -The color of the notification LED<\/strong>
\n -The color of the notification icon<\/strong>
\n -The color of the application icon<\/strong>

A nice feature is the ability to respond directly via a banner (activated or not and adjustable), when the screen is locked Textra displays the beginning of the SMS for a time you choose, if you click on it the keyboard comes out and you can respond on the lock screen without typing your code, if you wait too long the banner disappears and you will have to unlock the screen. When you are already on the phone you can also activate the banner, you can swipe to make it disappear before the end of the set time.<\/p>\n

The banner's presence time may be different when the screen is locked or not, it's up to you. If you close it you can reply to the SMS by clicking on the notification in the notification bar whenever you want.<\/p>\n

A blacklist to block numbers is present, the possibility of adding a signature to your SMS as well....<\/p>\n
