No software is needed, nothing else needs to be installed except a simple, very lightweight extension to start downloading videos.<\/p>\n

Available on Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, this small free add-on will allow you, by going to the sites of your choice, to retrieve and download videos found there in a few clicks and very quickly.<\/p>\n

Additionally the extension allows you to choose in what quality you want to download the video, select the one you want and click on the button to choose where to save it on your PC.<\/p>\n

The only site that I know of that is not supported is YouTube. This feature is locked due to YouTube's terms of service, just read the message the extension will tell you when you go to the site. There are still other options to download from YouTube by searching on Google if that's what you're interested in.<\/p>\n

Another big plus point: the videos are downloaded at the maximum of your internet connection, this system is comparable to downloading an image like when you click on it to do "Save image as".<\/p>\n
