You don't have a WebCam on your PC and don't want to buy one? Then use your phone or tablet as a WebCam on your PC!

For this tip we will use a simple application, free of course (There is a PRO version which allows access to some additional options) that we will need to install on our phone or tablet that we want to use as a WebCam, as well as a small, very light software that goes with it.

A big positive point is that the connection is wireless between your Android and your PC! It is obviously possible to make the connection by a USB cable if you prefer. In both cases you will have the same image quality, there may just be some losses via the wireless connection.

The rear camera and not the front one will be used in order to have better quality.

Once the connection is established between the software and the application, the device will display a preview on the screen of what it is filming, you will also find this preview on the software on the PC in real time. Now your Android is considered as a WebCam by your computer, so you can use it on all programs or websites that support WebCams (Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Skype, Action!, Nvidia Geforce Experience....).

You will find some settings available on the free version, to have all the settings you will need to purchase the PRO version for a few Euros, but if your goal is simply to have a classic WebCam without necessarily having to tinker with it, the free version is more than enough.

You will need the Android app which can be downloaded at THIS ADDRESS, as well as small software for your PC ICI, or simply by following the links in the video description on YouTube.
