First of all, before going any further, it is important to know what the LUT. I am redirecting you to the video by Romain from the TechNews&Tests channel who speaks very well about it.
The principle of the trick that I am going to present to you will be very interesting because it allows you to:optimize your work on Sony Vegas PRO and in addition to creating a color correction perfect!
If like me you have mastered Photoshop to edit images and make them much more beautiful by modifying the colors, contrast, brightness… etc… But you don’t know how to do the same on Sony Vegas PRO, then I'm going to teach you how to use the exact same settings you applied to your image on the entire video in just a few clicks!
Regarding optimization, this is also a big positive point because instead of having a bunch of effects on your video in order to modify it as you see fit, you will only havea simple LUT effect above! The preview will therefore not be significant much faster, but also the rendering, because there is only one effect to apply when rendering. As said above, this trick allows you to embellish your videos, but in addition to speed up rendering on Sony Vegas PRO.
Only one extremely lightweight plugin that can be installed in two or three clicks is needed, the LUT Plugin, proposed by VisionColor . As said in the video, this plugin costs the exorbitant sum of 2€49 ! We agree, it's totally profitable for this price considering what it allows you to do! I'll put the plugin in the required elements space further down on this page.
As for the creation of adjustment layers, I will not detail everything in video because it is far too complex, you can nevertheless find a lot of tutorials on the subject on the internet or download LUT already ready-made if you don't know how to create them. In case you download ready-made LUTs, you don't even have not need Photoshop, just import the file .CUBE on Sony Vegas PRO with the LUT Plugin.
